Overview

Novotus has been retained to identify two top-notch Regional Sales Managers for an established, privately held semiconductor services organization. Your territory will be ½ of the US (East or West) including a portion of current Austin and Texas active customers. While our client’s organization is small and target audience is niche, growth opportunities abound and territories are vast.


This will not be an easy search. We’re looking for highly consultative, seasoned technical professionals, ideally engineers, capable of building strong relationships executing a sophisticated solutions sell. Our client boasts a deep and complex suite of services; hence it’s critical that these new hires are capable of adding value to customers and internal teams.


In addition to business development of new customers, our client is seeking greater wallet share from their existing client base. You must be capable of selling at all levels and navigating up and down an org chart. We’re hopeful to identify candidates that can bring with them proven sales methodologies and help us implement structure and process to our sales function.


Accountabilities / Responsibilities

  • Grow services and revenue stream in existing customer base through deep relationship building and consultative solutions sales.
  • Cold call/prospect to generate new customers.
  • Establish contact and develop relationships with potential customers, identify decision makers and key influences, understand and size opportunities, position offerings.
  • As each account will prove unique, working up and down ‘the stack’ is essential to your success.
  • Externally – define the scope of engagements, bid jobs, set and manage client expectations.
  • Internally – partner with technical staff to ensure scope and bid projections are feasible and profitable.
  • Prepare proposals, deliver presentations, and negotiate quotes.

Requirements

  • A Bachelors degree in a technical or engineering discipline required.
  • Proven professional experience in a design, quality or sales engineering function.
  • A love for selling and obtaining and maintaining customer delight.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor processing and qualifications.
